One Hundred Aspects of the Moon x Hyakudan Kaidan
Enjoy the Moon with all Your Senses

This exhibition will feature 20 works from One Hundred Aspects of the Moon, divided into two sections, and will also feature works by contemporary artists who have also used the moon as a motif.
Visitors can experience an immersive world brimming with works related to the moon, such as a space where the moon depicted in ukiyo-e woodblock prints seems to have appeared before their eyes, and a collaboration between architecture and moon art.
We hope you will enjoy the Japanese tradition of otsukimi moon viewing with the moon illuminating the profound atmosphere of a cultural property.

Admiring the Palace of the Dragon King

Hyakudan Kaidan, a cultural asset that is enjoyed through various special exhibitions throughout the year, will be presented in a special program that allows visitors to enjoy the view of it as is. We will share with you the charm of Hyakudan Kaidan, a cultural property that has evolved with the passage of time and has a variety of expressions including artworks and furnishings. In addition, we will also introduce new and old artists who have admired the charm of former Meguro Gajoen, which was called the “Palace of the Dragon King of the Showa Era”, and their stories.
